Run. Jump. Bark. Repeat.

Welcome all to FTC We all love playing Flyball and sharing our racing successes with our teammates. You win and lose together as part of a racing family, but what about your own personal Flyball racing journey with you four legged friend? One of the unique aspects of FTC is that it does not matter which Flyball association your team is affiliated with — or even which country you train and race in. You and your dog can accrue points and gain awards wherever you compete. Tournaments do not even need to be sanctioned events.

What is FTC?

This is where FTC comes in. At FTC, we want to celebrate your personal journey with your dog. From the very first introductory training techniques through to open racing, there is always an FTC award to work towards and achieve. One of the unique aspects of FTC is that it does not matter which Flyball association your team is affiliated with — or even which country you train and race in. You and your dog can accrue points and gain awards wherever you compete. Tournaments do not even need to be sanctioned events. All you need to do is submit evidence of your achievements to us via email.

Why FTC Was Created

FTC was founded by a group of like-minded Flyball friends who share a passion for supporting handlers throughout their Flyball journey with their special four-legged partners. Over more than 15 years in the sport, we noticed there was very little recognition for the achievements of individual Flyball partnerships. While Flyball is naturally a team sport, individual accomplishments still deserve to be recognised and rewarded. After all, to each of us, our own dogs are the very best Flyball dogs in the sport. With this philosophy in mind, we have spent the last few months working hard to capture the true essence of that journey.

Your Journey, Your Achievements

FTC begins with our beginners course, celebrating every stage of progress — from early training techniques and foundation work right through to confidently hitting the lanes and running clean Flyball legs. The beauty of the FTC system is that points are awarded for training targets achieved safely, consistently, and in a structured sequence. This means you continue achieving as you learn. Once you begin racing, you can earn further points for your own individual clean legs, regardless of whether the other three dogs on your team run clean. Because this is your journey and your story — and we want to celebrate that success with you.

Looking Ahead

We are excited to continue developing FTC and look forward to sharing more content, courses, and opportunities with the Flyball community. We hope you enjoy being part of the journey with us.
